ACCIDENT INFORMATION
On 1/28/24 Coweta County E911 received a call from a concerned citizen that was following a Red Ford Ranger. The Caller stated the vehicle, later found to be driven by Rosemaire Newbold, was hitting mailboxes off Todd Rd.
As the caller continued to follow Newbold, after continuing to hit multiple mailboxes, she drove the vehicle through the mud beside the road and into a ditch, where should would eventually get stuck.
Newbold, and a male passenger, continued to attempt to drive the vehicle out of the ditch, and according to the caller at one point exited the vehicle with it still in gear.
Officers arrived and arrested Newbold, calling for a wrecker to remove the vehicle from the ditch. The wrecker would be canceled however when someone appeared with a tractor and was able to pull the vehicle out.
