In the state of Georgia, a suspect that is found to be driving a vehicle while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle is charged with an additional charge for each child in the vehicle. The charge, Endangering a Child by Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, is a misdemeanor and carries the same bond amount as the accompanying DUI charge which is $1700.
